Hardware and software systems undergo various stages of testing before the product is released to all customers. At one such stage, the product is known as the Beta version. A Beta version is one that is very close to the final product. Beta releases are the pre-release version of a software product that are made available to a select group of trusted customers known as Beta Customers. After vigorous quality testing, the beta releases are opened to all customers. Currently YourSchoolMate is a beta product.
